Inauguration of the paper mill in King’s Lynn, UK

The opening of Palm Paper’s newest paper mill was celebrated on June 18th, 2010 in King’s Lynn. The paper mill houses the worlds most modern paper machine for newsprint, known as LYNN PM7. The machine width is 10.63 metres. PM7 has the capacity to produce 400,000 tonnes of high quality newsprint per annum from 100 % recycled fibres.

The inauguration held in the Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn, was attended by 470 guests from across Europe. During his speech Dr Palm thanked all who had contributed to the successful project and emphasized the enormous support from English customers and local authorities.

During the following mill tour all guests were able to get a personal impression of the enormous scale of the 400 million £ investment project.
